Can You Reuse DTF Film

DTF film cannot be reused. DTF film is a one-time use product. Once used, its stickiness will decrease and it cannot be firmly attached to clothing or other materials again.

The design and use of DTF film also determine its one-time use characteristics. After the hot stamping of DTF film is completed, the pattern needs to be transferred to the fabric through the tearing step. Different types of heat transfer films (such as hot tear film, cold tear film, and instant tear film) have different requirements for tearing time, but none of them can be reused.

In addition, the high temperature resistance and non-fading characteristics of the direct to film process also make it impossible to effectively attach the pattern again after a single use. Direct to film technology prints the pattern on a PET transfer film and then presses it on the clothing through a press. This process ensures the firmness and durability of the pattern, but also makes the heat transfer film unable to be reused.
