1. Specifications and dimensions of DTF transfer film
Common widths
30cm, 33cm, 43cm, 60cm, etc. Some products support customized widths.
30cm×100m roll, 60cm×100m roll.
Sheet size
Standard sizes such as A3 (297mm×420mm), A4 (210mm×297mm).
Sheet quantity: 100 pieces/pack or 200 pieces/pack.
Thickness
The common thickness is 75μm.
Type
Single-sided matte/glossy, double-sided available, cold/hot/warm peeling film.
2. How to use sheet DTF transfer film
Design preparation
Use design software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator) to create or edit the pattern, ensuring that the resolution is not less than 300dpi.
The export file format is TIFF, JPEG or PDF, and the color mode is CMYK.
Printing operation
Put the sheet DTF film into a compatible DTF printer (such as Epson I3200 model).
Printing settings: Select the “thermal transfer film” mode and enable white ink printing (if you need to cover dark fabrics).
After printing, wait for the ink to dry naturally or use a drying device to accelerate drying.
Powdering and curing
Sprinkle hot melt powder evenly on the printed surface to ensure that the pattern is completely covered.
Heat using a drying tunnel or oven (150-160°C, 8-15 seconds) to melt and cure the hot melt powder.
Transfer operation
Place the cured DTF film pattern face down on the fabric and use a thermal transfer machine (150-160°C, 10-15 seconds) for heat pressing.
After cooling, gently tear off the film and the pattern will be transferred to the fabric.
Notes
Peeling method: Select cold peeling, hot peeling or warm peeling according to the type of film.
Fabric selection: Suitable for a variety of fabrics such as cotton, polyester, nylon, silk, leather, etc.
Safe storage: Unused DTF films should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight.
